Today I was given an interesting lecture about bleach retouching from our bleach colour expert boss! Actually, bleach retouching is a pretty complicated thing to do if the hair roots are grown past 3cm. The reason is that the hair closest to the scalp is warmer due to the body heat, therefore the rate for the bleaching process is faster compared to ones past 3cm.
This will result in uneven tones if we only use one type of intensity of bleach mixture. So to create an even tone, we must bleach it twice . This will also cause more damage to that area which we want to avoid. That is why our stylist recommends doing bleach touch-ups every 9 weeks, for the sake of your hair, and wallet /laughs/
